UN Climate Change News, 12 December 2019 - The dates and host cities have been announced for the suite of 2020 Regional Climate Weeks, which will include for the first time a Climate Week in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, in addition to Climate Weeks in Africa, Latin America & the Caribbean and Asia Africa Climate Week 2021 is now scheduled for 26 to 29 September. Asia-Pacific Climate Week 2021 ran from 6 to 9 July. The Regional Climate Weeks 2021 kicked off in Latin America and the Caribbean in May. 2021 is a historic year for global climate action at COP26. This is the year we either lose sight of the Paris targets, or it is the year we start implementing the Paris Agreement.
